PW Hardwood, LLC began business in 1915 as Plunkett-Webster Lumber Company operating as a broker wholesaler of hardwood lumber servicing the manufacturing industries of New England. Over the years we had many different roles in the industry from primary sawmill manufacturer to regional distributor. Today, our function in the supply chain is close to the source, concentrating sawmills production and providing kiln drying and other value added services at the wholesale level.

We process the indigenous hardwood lumber species of North Eastern USA and Eastern Canada. Our principal area of supply is Pennsylvania, New York and New England. This Northern Appalachian region is renowned worldwide for good color and fine textured hardwoods.
